Meagan’s Flavors of the Holidays: Orange-Cranberry & Cinnamon Muffins

November 1 … my official start to the Christmas season! And I know there are people who extremely oppose such an early start and they think it is too soon. But this is my favourite time of the year and the sooner it starts, the better!

It shouldn’t be a surprise, but of course holiday baking is a must! Since I am now back living at home I have access to a full kitchen with all my baking gear. So this holiday season I’ve decided to try a bunch of new recipes each with its own unique flavor or scent that screams Christmas.

One of my favourite YouTubers to watch is Zoella mainly because she is just as big of a Christmas fanatic as I am. One of her favourite things to do in the holiday season is to dry oranges. In my opinion baking with any citrus fruit brings an aroma to the house that is just amazing. So for my first edition to Meagan’s Flavors of the Holidays I undertook baking Orange-Cranberry & Cinnamon Muffins. The combination of orange and cinnamon is definitely something I will try again.

Now this is just the beginning of my holiday baking expedition and I can’t wait to bust out all of my Christmas baking supplies. Walking around the grocery store and seeing all the various Christmas baking goodies just brings me so much excitement.

As you can see some may call my collection a slight Christmas problem (and I won't lie this isn't even all of my collection), but for someone as crazy about Christmas and baking I just can’t help myself when I come across new holiday cupcake liners or holiday cookie cutters! It seems now it is so easy to find holiday baking supplies. I have found some of my favourite at Bulk Barn and even at Winners! I always keep an eye out for anything Christmas-y and add it to my ever-growing collection.
